Rhyming well? It takes a skill
that I do not possess.
But I will still churn out my swill
and try not to obsess.
I’d call this practice, but I know
it won’t matter a bit.
These forced and stilted rhymes I sow
Won’t ever be a hit.
Ha ha but that’s okay, I say!
It’s not a requirement.
I’ll keep on writing my own way,
your annoyance to prevent.
